ABOUT OUR CLASSES

Whether you want to learn to Ollie, Drop-in, or even just want some help with learning the basics, we aim to provide a safe and welcoming environment to our students while helping to maximize their potential.
Students will be split into groups based on their age & skill level, and work through a range of various tricks and activities throughout the lesson.
Classes are open to all ages and abilities with skateboard and gear hire available for free upon request.
Classes are limited in numbers, so make sure you book to secure your spot!

FREE LESSONS

Thanks to the support of Out and About Auckland, Auckland Council, and Sport Auckland - we’re excited to offer a variety of free skateboarding lessons across Auckland!

Our sessions are open to all ages and abilities, from first-timers to confident skaters.

At Girls Skate NZ, our mission is to create a space where everyone feels welcome.

We focus on building confidence, resilience, and community, with a special emphasis on empowering young wahine to step onto their boards and thrive.

Each class is run by experienced, supportive coaches. We provide skateboards and safety gear if you don’t have your own, all you need to bring is yourself, suitable shoes and a drink bottle.

Spaces are limited, so make sure to book your spot and come skate with us!
