CLASSES UPDATE!
Girls Skate NZ has recently made the exciting transition from a registered business to a not-for-profit organisation. This change allows us to focus even more on our mission of making skateboarding accessible to girls and young people across Aotearoa.
As part of this transition, we've had to complete a range of behind the scenes changes, including setting up new bank accounts, updating our systems, and applying for funding through new channels. While this means our regular timetable is temporarily smaller, it's all in support of creating a bigger impact in the long term.
At the moment, we have one weekly class running, but don't worry! We're working hard behind the scenes to secure funding for many more free skateboarding sessions across Auckland and beyond.
We expect to have a range of new free classes and programmes available over the next few weeks, so keep an eye on our website and social media for announcements.

ABOUT OUR CLASSES
Whether you want to learn to Ollie, Drop-in, or even if you have never stepped on a skateboard and want some help with learning the basics, we aim to provide a safe and welcoming environment to our students while helping to maximize their potential.
Students will be split into groups based on their skill level, and work through a range of various tricks and activities throughout the lesson.
Classes are open to all ages and abilities, with skateboard and gear hire available for free upon request.
Classes are limited in numbers, so make sure you book to secure your spot!
